My time of loving you has run out too soon,
You furry, big and loving bay balloon,
You gave me your heart, and I gave you mine,
In my eyes you will always shine.
If I could have loved you all over again,
I would not change a thing my friend,
We were an inseparable pair,
Though we had different coloured hair.
Now you’re going to a brand new yard,
I know that farewells are really hard,
But they will love you as much as me,
It’s time to strut your stuff and show how good you can be!

I’ve never felt this pain before,
It is like a fire inside me blazing at the core,
My heart has been frozen solid in ice,
And my mind is being nibbled by mice,
I feel distraught, distant and far away,
I will miss you, but hey,
You have got a new loving home,
However I will have to search and roam,
Looking for another horse,
It’s no easy task of course!
I love you baby, never forget me!!
